Secret Reporters

The race to 2019 gubernatorial race in Delta State has begun in earnest, Secret Reporters can report authoritatively, even though the quick to trust Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa is unaware of it.

In what can best be described as the rat eating the leg and blowing it to stop pains from being felt, the duo of Mr Ighoyota Amori who rigged the Delta Central Senatorial election but was sacked by the Appeal Court and the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Mr Monday Igbuya are currently in collaboration to unseat Okowa in 2019 and install Igbuya.

According to very reliable sources who are aware of the scheme, Amori is not happy that he is no longer relevant politically, and has drafted his errand boy, Igbuya to begin preparation to take over Okowa’s seat discreetly. This plot is still kept to their chest pending when the election for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) State Chairman which Amori is eyeing is over.

There are fears within the sacked illegal Senator’s camp that he may not emerge as the Chairman of the party, since he could not ‘win’ his senatorial district. Our credible sources relayed that Igbuya has positioned men within the Urhobo axis to pay him courtesy calls, and ‘mount pressure’ on him to run for the governorship race in 2019, which he will ‘accept’. One of the game plan is to also tell some prominent loyalists to decamp to the All Progressive Congress (APC) where one of the trusted allies will be given the party guber ticket, and they will rally round the Urhobos to vote for him against Okowa. “Okowa is not safe with these two men, even though he does not know it.

You know he does not throw money around, but always complain there is no money. They believe he’s blocking their political chances and making the Aniomas very powerful, hence they want to remove the power from him in 2019, and they will do it”, narrated a source to this medium. During the election court cases, we gathered that Igbuya was in touch with the opposition to see that Okowa loses, to enable him become the Acting Governor, after which he will oversee a re-run that will hand over power to the candidate of the Labor Party, Ovedje Great Ogboru, who would have fused with Otega Emerhor.

With victory given to the opposition on a platter of gold, the scheming Speaker will then decamp and still maintain his position, stated a credible source within his camp Igbuya who is widely known to be the most corrupt Assembly member in Nigeria we can also report factually submitted wrong information to the Code of Conduct Bureau, as some of his assets were not included in the form.
A staff with the CCB told us on condition of anonymity that the declared assets did not include the many acquired lands in Sapele, as well as the school built which he used the sister as front.
