EX GOV UDUAGHAN SNEAKS INTO DELTA GOV’T HOUSE FOR CAUCUS MEETING AS HE DOLES OUT MONEY FREELY

Former Governor of Delta State, Emmanuel Uduaghan who has been in Lagos after his trip abroad we can authoritatively report is in Delta State, contrary to notion that he’s in Lagos, where he is resting after eight years of being on the saddle of Delta number one seat.

Uduaghan sneaked into the capital city, Asaba on Thursday without any fanfare that normally follows him, in what an observer described as “hiding from the people that he has offended and decision to lie low”. Secret Reporters sources disclosed that he came into the state governor’s house for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) caucus meeting.

The meeting we gathered held around 7pm unlike midnight which it used to be when the ex governor was in charge. The meeting which ended hours later saw government house officials who had not gone home smiling as Uduaghan doled out wads of Naira to them like a “political leader” that he is, stated another source who was privy to the meeting. He quickly entered his official and zoomed off to, the source further revealed.

Uduaghan who came back from his trip overseas has been inconsistent with his visit to the state, preferring to stay in his Lagos abode and sometimes visiting his Warri base and calling those he chose to call without anyone getting across to him, as he has changed his two known phone numbers, Secret Reporters gathered.

A very close source to the governor confided in this newspaper that the former governor is under pressure from political loyalists and friends, as well as uncertain if his books in government will be looked into, especially with the new Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) boss breathing fire. Another source however dismissed the notion of the anti graft agencies coming after him, as his days in government was purely to manage not to sign cheque like former governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Fashola claimed during his appearance for ministerial screening.
