WHO IS DOING THIS TO OKOWA?

Since Sen Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa assumed office as executive governor of Delta State in may 2015, there has been rumour about cancellation of free education in primary and secondary education in which the State government has consistently rebuffed such as untrue and not obtainable.

However, its with total dismay and shock that most students are now being charged exorbitant price(s) in the name of registration for new intakes or new section of level in basic education.

Its necessary to state that such charges under the guise of registration is absurd and unacceptable and its imperative the State governor through the commissioner of basic education stop such outrageous charges with immediate effect.

Moreso, those perfecting means of collecting this exorbitant charges from people has made it look like hand work of H.E Dr Okowa cos all these started when Senator Okowa assumed office as governor of Delta.

Furthermore, Delta State University has also taking this same advantage of administration change to increase the acceptance fee of students by 100% and medicals by 40% and still wants to increase school fees by 85%.

All these actions being carried out/implemented is aimed at making the Governor being hated/disliked by the average Deltans whom he promised prosperity because all these increment started after he assumed office and the perpetrators have perfected ways of making it look like directives of the governor.

Moreso, its therefore imperative that the governor take a proactive step further to disabuse the minds of average Deltans by directing the immediate reversal of fees payment or status quo of all kind of fees payment be maintained as before May 29th, 2015 and prosecution of the perpetrators.

Par adventure (God forbid) that the tribunal orders for a re-run of Delta State governorship election, Okowa coasting victory will be like the task of a rich man making heaven as described in the bible cos the level of anger/hate breeding in the minds of average Deltans on this subject matter is like very enormous and deserve urgent attention expediently.
