OKOWA OF PDP LEAD WITH WIDE MARGIN IN DELTA GUBER, AS OGBORU SETS TO CRY FOUL

The gubernatorial election holding across the country is close to producing a winner in Delta State according to results collated by Secrets Reporters, which were obtained from the election venue and announced after the count.

Of the over 500,000 votes counted in Delta North, Delta South and Delta Central, the Peoples Democratic Candidate (PDP), Senator Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa is having a clear lead against his main challenger, Great Ovedje Ogboru of the Labor Party who is coming close with a vote of 121,000, while the All Progressive Congress (APC) aspirant, Olorogun Otega Emerhor trail behind with close to 60,000 votes.

The election has however come as a surprise in Delta North, as the APC is coming behind the PDP against expectations that Ogboru whose mother is from the region will be second. In Ndokwa nation, Okowa has swept away all the votes leaving a paltry sum for his two challengers to share.

In Delta South which was covered by our reporter, the PDP candidate is also dusting his contenders. In Isoko South Local Government Area, Ward 6, Unit 8, a Secrets Reporter journalist was mobbed when he put a call across to our situation room on rigging plans by the APC who told the electoral officers to allow them thumbprint the unused ballot papers.

In Bomadi,he is also having the lead according to figures from the field sent to us, while doing very well in Ughelli South. The results from Udu is yet to reach us, which happens to be the stronghold of the LP candidate.

We can reliably report that the State Governor, Emmanuel Uduaghan, who was earlier suspected to be working for the LP has successfully deliver his Senatorial district to his party. We gathered that Uduaghan and Okowa met on Saturday during the election.

A source in the camp of Ogboru squealed to us that the peoples general will take to the street if the results from Delta Central does not favor him.
