EXCLUSIVE! PRESIDENCY SETS TO CLONE ELOMBAH.COM, PREMIUM TIMES AND SAHARA REPORTERS WITH N300 MILLION

A presidential source has confided in Elombah.com on plans to clone three of Nigeria most popular news websites and opposition media. According to the source who is in the media office of the president, a serious meeting was held among the media and publicity heads where it was agreed that the online medium has been the greatest source of embarrassment to the President Goodluck Jonathan led administration.

He stated that the meeting which was held in the evening listed 12 most dangerous medium capable of inciting the people against the government and resolved to immediately create a look alike website, Facebook page and twitter account for them. One of those in the meeting we gathered specifically pleaded that he be made to be in charge of Elombah.com which is seen as neither here nor there.
“Elombah is a very funny side who you don’t know whom they support. Sometimes, they publish news that are not so damaging, but some of their reporters including you (referring to this reporter) gives us cause to worry in Elombah, as their news are not in the interest of the presidency. Elombah only interest is the finance minister who they defend, but lash out at other government functionaries’ leadership”, the source revealed.
We were reliably informed that the first stage of the operation will begin with Sahara Reporters which is seen as an enemy of the government. The source noted that they also thought of suing Sahara Reporters for some of the reports which they have done that are not mostly true, but fear public outcry who will think they are being witch hunted by the FG. 
When asked what offence Premium Times committed that they want it clone; the source stated that the media house has been the mouth piece of the All Progressive Congress (APC), while towing the line of Sahara Reporters. “Premium Times is even better. They call to confirm news but Sahara does not. They just publish, but Premium Times despite confirming rubbishes the government before publishing the government version”, the source squealed.
Further information available to us is that over N300 million has been budgeted for this projected. We gathered that the Facebook page will be sponsored for 5 years to garner enough likes and the contents will be solely to promote government agenda while bringing down the opposition members and parties. Some popular social media critics will also be recruited as foot soldiers to defend the cloned news sites.
