The lust for power blinds the eyes and drives ambition to the extreme. When money is involved, it leads to insanity in the quest to get it by all means and deafens the sound of reason. In the survival of power, the voice of reasonable men drowns while sycophancy and wealth to be acquired take prominence.
This is currently the screenplay in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as they have made it clear that the current minority leader of the House of Representatives, Mr Leonard Ogor, who’s currently down with Stroke and partial paralysis of the legs must be given the party ticket. SecretReporters can authoritatively confirm this news, that the national body engineered by the Delta State leadership of Kingsley Esiso has perfected the cards to see Ogor through.
According to a knowledgeable insider of the PDP who claims to be in the know and should actually know, as one of those who calls the shot in Delta disclosed that the PDP travelled all the way to faraway China, where Leo Ogor is currently undergoing native Chinese treatment to give him the party nomination form, against the wish of prominent party stakeholders who out of fear cannot express their displeasure publicly.
Ogor who cannot write or sign any document we gathered was held by his hands to imitate his former signature which was still not clear. The minority leader we gathered has sworn to die as the House of Reps member for the Isoko Nation and blackmailed the state government into believing that he alone has the money looted from his sixteen years stay in the Green Chambers and hopes to loot more to service the party political structure.
The PDP has been globally acclaimed as a notorious party that believes in imposing candidates against democratic norms.
