TENSION MOUNTS IN DELTA STATE POLYTECHNIC OGHARA, WITH RECTOR RUNNING HELTER SKELTER TO COVER LOOTS, AS GOVERNOR OKOWA DEMANDS FOR ACCOUNTABILITY OF IGR FROM ALL STATE INSTITUTIONS

As Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State demands for an up to date account of the internally generated revenue (IGR) of all Delta State owned institutions, including details of contracts which has been executed, there is serious tension currently brewing in Delta State Polytechnic Oghara, as the Rector, Mrs.Clara Sogbaike has summoned an emergency academic board meeting for tomorrow, in a bid to detail staff on what is expected of them, as the wind of anti corruption agencies blows in the institution.

In a directive sent to Delta’s young looting Commissioner for Higher Education, Jude Sinebe, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa ordered for a probe of the three Polytechnics in the state, which are, Delta State Polytechnic Oghara, Delta State Polytechnic Ozoro and Delta State Polytechnic Oghwashi ukwu.

The Governor directed that the management of the three Polytechnics should give account of all Internally Generated Revenues (IGRs), all contracts awarded and executed.

Sources informed our Reporters, that Clara has been shuttling Asaba and running from pillar to post to see how she can cover up their looting. Most of the looted funds were used by the Rector and her family members to acquire properties within and outside the Polytechnic Community running into several millions of Naira. A text message has been forwarded today to all Academic Board Members for an emergency meeting slated for tomorrow 13th October, 2016 where the matter will be discussed and to also seek the support of all Academic Board Members.

With the young looter Jude Sinebe being involved in the looting alongside the Rector, Secret Reporters watch on him continues.
