A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain and minority leader of the House of Representatives, Mr Leo Ogor has made a New Year resolution of silencing all critics opposed to his notorious style of leadership.
One of his first targets is a prominent Isoko critic, Mr Ilolo Ewareoghene, whom he represents in the National Assembly. Fact findings by this newspaper revealed that Ilolo has been his most prominent critic, even though he has been his supporter in the past.
“He is threatening me because I’m calling on him to empower his people, hence we will not support him again. I used his pictures for over two years as my Facebook profile pictures, took bullets for him online mostly in UNR. The records are there. I was the only one defending him where all his aides were thanking me, yet a single assistance to the people, to empower then genuinely instead of buying Okada and things that cannot sustain people”, he told Secrets Reporters.
Rather than respond to the claims of his rascality and non empowerment of his constituents, we gathered that Ogor called Ilolo on phone on 29th December 2015, at exactly 7.28pm to issue out threats to him. He roared that he was going to send his son to beat the critic, as well as manhandle him personally; so much that he will not have the guts to challenge him again.
Calls placed to Ogor to get his own side of the story were not answered or returned.
