Secret Reporters No place to hide
The Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party in Adamawa State, Alhaji Umar Jada, on Tuesday resigned his position.
He made his resignation known through a letter dated December 30th 2013 and addressed to the PDP State Chairman
The letter reads: “I, Umar Bello Jada, humbly write to formally inform you that I have resigned from my position as the State Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, Adamawa chapter.
“I very much thank you and the party for giving me the rare opportunity to serve in that capacity. Thanks in anticipation of your kind acceptance.”
The letter however did not state his reason for resigning. Sources within the State has however confirmed to us that he is set to dump the party for the All Progressive Congress (APC), following the defection of his benefactor, Governor Alhaji Murtala Nyako, who has since defected to the All Progressives Congress alongside with members of his cabinet.
