Secret Reporters

The over N230 Billion received by the Kogi State Governor, Mr Yahaya Bello may have been spitted between the Governor and the State, as information reaching Secret Reporters from the Lugard Government House reveals that some of the money has been diverted.

In a startling revelation by one of the Governor’s aides, Yahaya Bello has connived with Zenith Bank to be moving money in tranches from the Lokoja Branch which is just opposite the Government House to yet to be identified location.

The aide who obviously helps to monitor the money as it’s stashed inside the Zenith Bank compound confided in us that the vehicles are loaded overnight, where they are escorted by well Armed Policemen to an unknown place in the Federal Capital Territory which is very close to the State. This movement began since Bello received the first Bailout fund in 2015.

According to the source, government house drivers are not used for these corrupt practices, but trained drivers that can outrun a rider brought from outside the state. With active connivance from the Chief of Staff, Edward Onoja, the drivers are changed halfway into the journey just to make them unaware of where the money is coming from and its final destination.

Zenith Bank which is an active player in this cash movement is one of the official bankers of the State.
