FOUR THIEVES: UGHELLI COUNCIL BOSS; KENNETH IBRU DIVERTS 21.6 MILLION NAIRA AS CORRUPT DELTA ASSEMBLY MEMBERS COVERS HIM UP

Secret Reporters
Controversies continues to trail the ongoing massive looting of Ughelli Local Government Council, as the Chairman, Kenneth Ibru has been alleged to have looted twenty one million, six hundred thousand naira only, belonging to the council.
The embezzlement of twenty one million naira was said to be from the Subsidy Re-investment fund (SURE-P), which seventy nine million naira was said to be paid into the Local Government Council account.
Not done with this, Kenneth and his co-looter, Teddy Okperi, who is the former leader of the council, withdrew six hundred thousand naira(N600,000), disguising on carrying out repair/ fixing of the council’s official car, when no such repair took place, and the two criminals converted the money for their personal use.
In contravening the Delta State Local Government Law, Kenneth Ibru has refused to render a monthly statement of income and expenditure, which the law stipulates; it should be rendered to the house every month.
We have further gathered that, Ughelli Council’s budget has not been presented to the house, since Kenneth assumed office in October 27, 2014.
The Ughelli Local Government councilors have written to the Delta State House of Assembly, asking that Kenneth be probed.
In furtherance of this letter to the House, Kenneth Ibru is to go the way of Henry Baro and Nkechi Chukwurah who were both suspended from their different council areas, due to allegations of fraud.
But in a twist, Simon Marierie and Eric Oharisi whose emergence to the House of Assembly was facilitated by Kenneth Ibru, they have hindered the probe of the criminal minded council Chairman, Kenneth Ibru.
