Weeks of investigations from Secret Reporters News has fingered the principal of Federal Science Technical College, Yaba, Lagos in fraud.
We gathered that, the principal, Mr.Chidi Ugoji had issued an order that all the students in the institution should split their fees into two parts, pay one part into the Federal Government account, while the other part is paid in cash to the school.
This practice has been on for a longer period of time, until our Reporter got wind of it.
Further investigations shows that, Ugoji keep billing the students unnecessarily for projects that ought to have been completed from the amount they first collected.
Several bills paid by the students include; laundry bill for all boarding students as high as N3000 per term, students are subjected to pay for books every term instead of just the first term of a new session.
One of our sources who spoke with our medium queried why the students should pay cash to the school with the TSA fully in place.
A source who also spoke with our Reporter said when you want to ask the reasons for paying cash in the school and cheating the Federal Government, the staff shouts you down.
