Clear facts has reached Secrets Reporters that Governor Ifeanyi has removed subsidy for renal dialysis in Oghara teaching hospital.
This subsidy was introduced by the Uduaghan’s administration and lots of Deltans with chronic kidney disease relocated from different parts of the country to take advantage of this great magnanimous offer.
Their hopes have however being dashed as the new Governor has taken an action and removed the subsidy. It has been confirmed that three patients have died so far over inability to foot the new bill.
We can authoritatively report that one of the patients relocated from Lagos with the disease condition too, and currently undergoing dialysis in Oghara.
Some of the patients who spoke with our reporter decried the level of suffering they currently go through in a bid to sustain their lives.
Efforts to speak with the Chief Medical Director of Delta State Teaching Hospital, Oghara, Dr Leslie Akporiaye were unsuccessful.
