Secret Reporters

The legal firework on who to represent Ughelli South in the Delta State House of Assembly has been finally laid to rest by a competent court of jurisdiction.

Reuben Izeze who won the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ticket to contest the general election was dragged to court by one Festus Utuama, son of the immediate past governor, Mr Amos Utuama, claiming that he, not Reuben, won the party’s primary ticket.

Festus who had the backing of his father went all out to use every means to get victory. With the aid of his father, we can authoritatively report that they reached out to one of the first judges, Justice Shittu Abubakar with millions of Naira to bribe him in order to rule in their favor.

This bribe was given in connivance with another member of the judiciary. According to very competent sources, Amos Utuama prevailed on Shittu to deliver a quick judgment in favor of his son, but a timely petition sent to the National Judicial Council (NJC) led to the removal of Shittu, as he was transferred out.
Despite the transfer, he still refused to leave on time, as he was under pressure by the duo of Utuama and son wjo was also a former commissioner of Delta State Oil Producing Area Development Commission to do their bidding.

A warning by the incorruptible benchers made he leave the matter and proceeded on his transfer, leaving another Judge to handle the matter in Federal High Court Warri, where the fearless judge that we gathered blocked every avenue of Utuama bribing him dismissed the suit challenging Comrade Izeze R.Y Reuben.

Reuben, a lawyer is the Majority Chief Whip of the State Assembly.
