Secret Reporters
Documents in our possession reveals that, a well coordinated kidnap which was orchestrated and carried out in Calabar, and investigated by the police, led by the investigative police officer, Inspector Nsa Okoi has been hidden from the public, and the kidnap suspects set free on the orders of the Commissioner of Police in Cross River State, who claimed that the Deputy Inspector General of Police in charge of Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, DIG Hyacinth Dagalaa, through the IG gave him the orders.
Further investigation proves that, after Secret Reporters exposed his ill activities in the state command, the CP has been running from pillar to post to distance himself from the kidnap, when he had ordered for the case file to be brought to him, and had given the OC legal and the IPO a standing instruction, to go and rewrite the report, that no kidnap took place.
Contrary to his claim, documents shows how the plans were carried out, and one of the suspects charged to court, while others were at large.
Having traced one of the kidnap suspects to Abuja, when he was finally brought to the state command that was how the CP ordered for their release, including vehicles used for the operations.
Highly placed sources in the command said, the CP is battling to save his job, haven been called from the force headquarters over his role, as he has questioned, if the OC legal and IPO will stand by him, in this pressing moments.
Secret Reporters investigation proves that, the OC legal, SP Enoch George is an upright man, and has refused to compromise his position, to write a new report, when he had previously given his legal advice on the matter.
Recollect that, the Project Manager of the Just Electrical Works, Mr.Chima Peter was kidnapped while carrying out his job, which we earlier reported.
