Delta Deputy Speaker, Mr Friday Osanebi who s considered a ragamuffin lawmaker is in the news again. As expected of his person who courts negative report like flies to dead animals, he has turned the hands of the law against his own people.
According to reports reaching the stable of this newspaper, Mr Friday popularly called ‘Fraud Day’ by his critics and represents Ndokwa East in the State House of Assembly has ordered soldiers to take over the town and shoot at sight any youth who dare to protest against Agip oil company located in their domain.
The youths who have been agitating that Agip step up or step down power supply in their area had threatened to shut down operations if the company refuses to heed to their demands after twenty one days and extra days of grace for negotiation.
Irked with anger and what he will lose allegedly being a contractor to Agip, the Deputy Speaker who is said to divert the N20 million paid the community by the oil company ordered truck loads of over five hundred (500) soldiers into Okpai where Agip is located to start killing any protesting youth.
