Following public condemnation over the sealing off of Guinea House by Mr Peter Nwaoboshi and jest made of him in private by top political figures in Delta State, who have seen him demystified, the embattled Senator has gone on award buying spree to make people believe that he’s still loved by the people, a reliable source has told this medium.
One of the awards already bought by Nwaoboshi is the Ibusa Community Development Union Award, which our source revealed was bought by him for a whooping N15 million. This award is coming barely few weeks when the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) started investigating his many fraudulent activities over the years, and many Delta North persons calling on him to resign, including his immediate Ibusa Community.
In a hurriedly packaged award, Nwaoboshi we gathered approached the union to confer on him the award to remain in the good books of Ibusa, as 2019 election approaches and his chance of going back getting dim by the day.
Before the sealing off of the Guinea House, he had earlier met a Deputy Inspector General of Police in Abuja who wanted to intervene but left him to dance the music sensing arrogance in his tone of discussion and daring the Federal Government to touch him or any of his properties.
