CONQUERED TERRITORY: STATE ASSEMBLY UNDER GOV. YAHAYA COERCION APPROVES 350 MILLION NAIRA FOR UNCONSTITUTIONAL GOVERNOR’S WIFE NEEDLESS TOUR AND N400 MILLION FOR TEA AND BISCUITS

While Kogi State workers and residents continue to wallow in pain due to nonpayment of salaries, we can authoritatively report that the State Governor, Mr Yahaya Bello has continued to run the State like a family empire.

In the 2017 budget passed by the rubber stamped House of Assembly, a mysterious sum of N350 million was budgeted for the governor’s wife which is an unconstitutional office just to tour round the villages and shake hands with them before going to back to the comfort of government house.

Despite the very poor performance by the governor since he was elected without actually contesting, he has also decided to waste N325 Million of Kogi tax payers’ money for advertisement and publicity, Secret Reporters has reliably gathered.

This will include regular appearance of Kingsley Fanwo, Edward Onoja who is the De facto Governor and selected others on AIT. N400 Million Naira was also budgeted for Lugard house refreshment, tea and biscuit, while workers and the pensioners are battling to feed twice in a day.

As part of the looting spree, the Governor, his Deputy and family members will siphon N50 Million in the name of foreign treatment. Their Excellencies foreign treatments is to cost Kogi state N50 Million while the State General Hospitals and Primary care centres are abandoned without basic facilities.
