ANCIENT THIEVES: HOW UDUAGHAN AND SEN NWAOBOSHI SOLD DELTA HOUSE WORTH N7 BILLION FOR THEMSELVES FOR N805 MILLION TO RENOVATE FOR N500 MILLION

Secret Reporters

As the State continue to wallow in penury and squalor, months of painstaking investigation which will continuously be published throughout this year by Secret Reporters has dug up hundreds of documents detailing how the state was pilfered mercilessly in the last administration with Senator Peter Nwaoboshi representing Delta North a worthy ally in the looting of the state.

We can report authoritatively that one of such joint venture that saw fmr governor Emmanuel Uduaghan and Nwaoboshi becoming best of friends was the selling of Delta House otherwise known as Guinea House located at No 27 Marine Road, Apapa, Lagos and buying it for themselves in a very fraudulent deal, done by Union Bank of Nigeria.

The eleven storey building luxury flats was sold in a deal dying minutes before the 2015 Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) when the former governor stuck on to Tony Obuh and Nwaoboshi was also keen on the Obuh agenda. To seal their collaboration and gain support from Nwaoboshi, Uduaghan sold the house to Nwaoboshi for a paltry sum that will shock even the least experience estate valuer.

What Deltans never knew was that both Uduaghan and Nwaoboshi jointly bought the house. While Nwaoboshi owns the first to fifth floor storey building, Uduaghan owns the sixth to eleven floor. The house which is currently undergoing renovation was bought by the duo for Eight Hundred and Five Million (N805 million), an amount estate valuers revealed that is worth only part of the land and not all the land on which it’s sited nor the entire building.

Check from Estate valuers stated that the House is worth N7 billion. The renovation was first given to Peculiar Consult owned by one Mr Adeleke, and was removed when Nwaoboshi suspected that he was giving out detailed documents and information to journalists and anti corruption activists.

In his place, he brought in his brother to take over the renovation while his Special Assistant, Kenneth oversee the day to day job. The sum of over N600 million has been earmarked to renovate the building.

The sinking Senator we can also report factually is already under the radar of the Federal Government, following a high powered petition to the Presidency, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC), Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB), Department of State Services (DSS) by the Anti Corruption and Integrity Forum led by Comrade Prince Kpokpogri.

The petition which was adopted last week Monday with the lawyers of the group in Abuja Secret Reporters can confirm has made the EFCC to send out invitation letter to the Anioma born Senator. A source in the EFCC who is among those specially detailed to see Nwaoboshi go to jail confided in us that “this man talks too much in the Senate, despite the stealing he committed in your state. Just relax and watch us use him set precedence in the senate. Your own is just to supply us more information as they come and let your colleagues in the media know what we are doing”.

The Guinea House is one of the shares of Delta State when Delta was carved out of then Bendel State.
