The coast is now clear for the arrest of corrupt Delta State Commissioner for Higher Education, Jude Sinebe, by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), who has since his assumption of office, conspired to shield the Rector of Delta State Polytechnic, Oghara, despite legal advice from the state attorney general, on the overwhelming evidence against the rector and her corrupt council members, who have continued to dwindle the resources, with frivolous and unnecessary approvals of cash to themselves.
We had previously reported, how Sinebe participated in also receiving kickbacks and substantial amount of millions of cash, which was also approved for him by Clara Sogbaike, Rector of the Polytechnic, and other kickbacks Sinebe has received from heads of higher institutions in the state.
In an exclusive document of approval for Sinebe’s arrest in Abuja, which was sent to the Port Harcourt office of the EFCC, to effect his arrest, which was obtained by Secret Reporters, all is now clear for Sinebe and his corrupt allies in the state to be at the EFCC detention next week, as the Commission, led by Ibrahim Magu, has vowed, not to leave any stone unturned, as the search light on the state education sector continues.

Senebe Jude, alongside his permanent secretary, director of higher education and other looters should be arrested without delay for conspiracy, aiding, abetting, shielding the rector, Clara Sogbaike and for being a party to the unabated looting and corrupt practices in Delta State Poly Oghara.

Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara is very far from being comatose. On the contrary, the Polytechnic has continued to remain a beehive of activities with an ever so vibrant and colourful outlook coupled with academic and infrastructural excellence to cap it all. This is why members of Delta State House of Assembly Committee on Education visited recently to behold the 7th wonder of the world and ascertain the gigantic and developmental strides of the Polytechnic Management.
Your most recent report as in all other reports published by you is alarmist, born out of frustration, misleading, unacceptable and a failed attempt to malign and assassinate the character of well-meaning, hardworking and innocent citizens of this country who have toiled tirelessly to upgrade the status of the fastest growing polytechnic in Nigeria.
When was Engr. Jude Sinebe appointed Commissioner for Higher Education in Delta State that he has started milking the institution to a state of comatose? Why will he not pay deaf ears when the evidence on ground is grossly at variance to your cock and bull allegations? When Chief (Barr.) Andy Osawota was appointed Governing Council Chairman of the polytechnic just last year, you also alleged that he too has started looting the polytechnic and shall soon cool off in EFCC underground cell. I wonder who is next.
If the Polytechnic that has been so looted according to you is still growing in leaps and bounds despite all the looting you claim to have taken place, then the polytechnic must be an enigmatic entity. In addition, the fact that an individual is or has been a guest of EFCC or ICPC does not make him/her fraudulent or a criminal until proven guilty. Stop jumping the gun and putting the cart before the horse.
In conclusion, your unlawful, wrongful and ill-motivated resentment against the Rector and all those partnering with her to build a lasting legacy and modern day citadel of learning is deleterious. According to Nelson Mandela, “resentment is like drinking poison and hoping it will kill your enemies!”
