ANOTHER TYRAN EMERGES IN NTA TV COLLEGE JOS, AS FRADULENT RECTOR, HALIMA BEWELL EMBEZZLES OVER 200MILLION NAIRA FROM INSTITUTION

Secret Reporters

As the war against corrupt Government officials takes continues, Secret Reporters findings shows that, the current Rector of NTA TV College, Jos, Halima Bewell is enmeshed in an embezzlement of over 200million naira from the institution’s account.

Ms Bewell, we gathered, subject students and staff of the institution to hatch conditions, and treats everyone with disdain. She operates the school like a dictator, likened to the Idi Amin’s regime in Uganda, where her words are orders.

With a population of students numbering over 1,700, she has introduced a new fee regime where students pay huge sum between N130, 000 for newly admitted students and N110, 000, for returning students per session, and hostel fee for N83, 000 per bed space with the college having a total of over one hundred bed spaces.

Our findings reveal that the institution charges significant amount for late registration, amnesty examination which is prohibited by NUC, project fees and sales of forms running into over 200Million naira in a year, with no project to show for the millions of naira which the Rector diverts into her private account.

Characteristically, in her fraudulent style, the Rector we gathered, personally withdrew 5million naira for the purchase of textbooks, which our investigation reveals, she personally brought only two books to the institution’s library to show for the monies she stole.

When our medium spoke with the Rector, she denied all of the allegations against her, saying,”she was working in the midst of enemies.”

More to come in our next report…
