We would like to invite the general public to pay attention to our complaints. We are agitators of Niger Delta Amnesty program studying abroad, United Kingdom, United State of America, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Malaysia etc. We are no longer comfortable with the special adviser to the president on Niger Delta Amnesty program “Hon Kingsley Kuku” for the mismanagement of this program. The office has been exhibiting violence act on us which we’ve been avoiding despite our grievances.
We would no longer continue to accept this dubious act of delaying our entitlements. As we speak in the UK, students in-training and house allowances have not been paid ever since last year November till date, in Russia some have not been paid for good three months, in Ukraine a girls have not been paid ever since she arrived last year, likewise other countries stated above, while they have been spending money for unnecessary expenditures which has no impact to the program.
This delaying of payment has being in existence ever since the beginning of offshore education, but it became so lousy when “Mr. Eugene Abel” took over the education unit. “Mr. Eugene Abel” is a misbegotten element that does not know the feelings and values of his people followed by “Miss. Peace Owei Oyanbo.” These heartless people have been trading with our entitlements with bankers for their selfish interest, while we the students are suffering constantly, and the same time recruiting new students to various countries without provisions, and the monthly stipends would be on pending for three to four months. In 2013/2014 academic session, students were affected and expel from their various universities due to the fact that the office could not pay tuition fees as at when dew and were withdrawn from the universities. Same thing is repeating itself 2014/2015 academic year.
In addition, those liaison offices created in various countries has nothing to contribute to the student’s affairs rather is an avenue of siphoning funds meant for the program. We students demand closure of these liaison offices and withdraw “Mr. Eugene Abel” and ‘Miss. Peace Owei Oyanbo” to avoid lame excuse and spurious claims for the betterment of this program.
In Conclusion, The Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta and Chairman, Presidential Amnesty Program Hon. Kingsley K. Kuku is incompetent, inexperience, incapable, of discharging his duties; therefore we are asking him to resign his appointment.
