Secret Reporters

Investigations have revealed that, the former Governor of Abia State, who is now a Senator in the National Assembly, Chief. T A Orji is currently plotting to install his son, Chinedu Orji as the next speaker of the State Assembly.

There are moves to unseat the current speaker, Hon.Martins as the sum of two hundred million Naira, (N200,000,000) has been earmarked to perfect his impeachment.

If that fails, an alter ego, Hon. Chinwendu Kalu, steps in as speaker. Sources say, the target is not the office of speaker, but the office of Governor which will become the next target once the impeachment of the speaker sails through.

Recollect that, TA Orji, who as governor, took Abia through its darkest period in governance and elevated visionlessness as state policy. TA Orji plotted that his son became a member of the state Assembly in a detailed plot to endanger Okezie Ikpeazu’s time as Governor.

As at the time of this report, the plot to impeach the speaker has been shifted to a date after presentation of 2017 Budget by the Governor. As at last count, more than two third members of the House have signed for the impeachment. The new plot is to ensure that the impeachment coincides with the swearing in of newly elected local government chairmen in the state.
