NEW BAPTIZED LOOTERS IN TOWN: NDDC EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR PROJECTS, ADJOGBE AND NSIMA EKERE AWARDS CONTRACT OF N70 MILLION FOR N600 MILLION

Unless a massive protest hit the streets calling for the immediate removal and probe of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Executive Director, Projects, Engr. Samuel Adjogbe; the Urhobo Nationality may just be having a glorified thief in the board, this medium can authoritatively report.

Less than a year since he was made an Executive Director, the very arrogant Adjogbor has shown that he is in the board to loot, steal and inflate projects beyond imaginations.

According to very impeccable sources in NDDC, the EDP has awarded and raised 110 certificate of award letters to individuals and companies who never bidded for any contract, but given based on nepotism and favoritism.
We reliably gathered that out of the 110 jobs, Mr Peter Nwaoboshi, who is the Chairman, Senate Committee on NDDC and represents Delta North in the Upper Chamber was given sixteen of the jobs to do, through one of his boys call Nelson in NDDC.

The contracts fraudulently termed Special Intervention Projects were awarded for N600 million by Adjogbe for a job that N70 million can comfortably do, thus making the contractor smile to the bank with N530 million. Once the job is done, contractors are paid without delay as the money has long been kept in bank for such.

Out of this massive loot which is misconstrued as profit, Adjogbe and the Managing Director, Nsima Ekere gets enough kickback, through which the MD will use to contest the 2019 governorship election in Akwa Ibom State while he runs for the House of Representatives in Delta State. Most of the roads awarded for such outrageous amount are just patched roads.

The proud Adjogbe who is extremely loyal to Otega Emerhor has also awarded over twenty contracts to himself using fronts. Against the civil service rule, he is currently using the money of the board in the name of contract to construct the road leading to his hotel.

In December 2016, Nsima Ekere was accused of embezzling N250 Million out of N400 Million paid by NDDC through the TSA operated by the Central Bank of Nigeria to a company allegedly belonging to the wife of an SA of the board.

Attempts to speak to the EDP through his two known lines 08052901530 and 08035084570 were not successful as he didn’t pick our calls.
