The anti corruption war and clampdown on corrupt officials has landed on the door steps of Clara Sogbaike, the corrupt Rector of Delta state polytechnic, as days of her running and hiding from the police authorities have come to an end.
Secret Reporters had revealed that, since Wednesday, October 13, 2016, a crack team of police from the IGP monitoring unit had landed Oghara in search of Clara and her accomplice, but when they got wind of it, they went into hiding.
On Friday, Clara refused to show up in the office, to avoid being arrested, but the intelligent network of the police, was able to trace her to her house in Benin, where she was hiding.
Clara was picked up yesterday, Sunday, in Benin, and is currently at the police Area command in Benin, waiting being taken to Abuja to face her corruption charges which she has been running from.
Sources say, Clara has told the police in Benin, that there is a court order restraining the police from arresting her, but she has been told that the manipulated court order which Clara bought, only restrained the Inspector General of Police, and not the National Security Adviser, as the order for her arrest came from the NSA, even as other looters are on the run.
Our inquiries also paid off, as the police has assured that no stone will be left unturned, including the arrest of Jude Sinebe, the Commissioner for Higher Education, who has shielded them in the past.
LOOTERS CAN’T ESCAPE JAIL
The great tyrant, Clara Sogbaike has finally been arrested by the Police for various crimes including official corruption, forgery, kidnapping, unlawful possession of firearms, aiding, abetting, shielding and sponsoring cultists with ammunitions. The long arm of the law has finally caught up with her and her accomplices. No body is above the law.
