The journey to spending years in prison may have begun for one of the Senior Special Assistants (SSA) to the Delta State Governor, Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa, this medium can report exclusively.

Mr Victor Egbo alias Last Mugu is currently embattled in various certificate forgery used in contesting the Isoko National Youth Assembly (INYA) in 2015 as well as lying under oath, an offence punishable under the Nigeria criminal law.

Egbo who was appointed a SSA on Youths and Development by Okowa has been under pressure to resign as the youth President, but has held on to the position and even disbursed the sum of Four Million Naira out of the Twenty Million given by the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Commission (DESOPADEC) to some of the youths.

We gathered that he was impeached by other executive officials of the association and subsequently declared wanted, yet he kept impersonating himself as the youth president. Our ever reliable sources with the youth body revealed to us how he was invited for a meeting in Isoko South Local Government Area Council but was booed on his arrival, which prompted him to run away.

Secret Reporters gathered that he ran away to Ughelli North where an ambush was laid for him by policemen from Zone 5, Benin, unknown to him. There he was nabbed and taken to the headquarters and kept behind the counter to write statement. Sources confided in us that the police is quizzing him for forgery and threatening some of the youth leaders, using his position as an aide to Okowa.
Behind the counter, our reporter who spotted him stated that he was pleading to be released to go home on self recognition, but was denied.

Egbo is currently building a mansion in Ughelli that may never be rivaled by any political leader from Isoko, with proceeds made from his activities as a youth leader over the years and his current position as a Governor’s aide.

“The house which is close to Jehovah witness is bigger than a hotel, which no political office holder can build in the local government. The house will take over ten years to even complete”, stated a source to us.
