DELTA STATE COMMISONER FOR ENVIRONMENT IN NEPOTISM AND BRIBERY SCANDAL

The Commissioner for Environment, Mr Frank Omare who is saddled with the responsibility of destroying all illegal structures in the State alongside his transport counterpart, Ben Ibakpa has abandoned the order from the government to carry out his own wish.

According to a source who confided in Elombah.com, Omare had called some top shots in Sapele local government area and told them his intention to visit the locality and the need for them to bribe him to avoid demolishing their structures.
We authoritatively gathered that the Commissioner purposely refused to destroy the buildings, shops and fence of those who allegedly bribed him as well as his ally. Some of the top shots in Sapele whose buildings were marked for demolition and obstructed the state government plan were left while the ones belonging to the poor one close to them were pulled down by his raging bulldozers.
A popular blogger based in the region, Sapele Tafia analysed some of the structures which were left standing by Mr Omare while he pulled down others. They are:
Omatseye Rubber Factory for Amukpe, Ambassador Sagay fence Amukpe, BEDC fence Amukpe, Army Checking Point Amukpe, Ike Motors Park Ajogodo, Obule Secretariat Fence.
Obule House Fence, International School Fence (Ofortokun), Odebala Fence.
Also left undestroyed by the proud commissioner are: Jomaph Hotel in Yoruba road, Jomaph Plaza in Boyo road, Jomaph House at Ogodo road, a store which belongs to Micheal Diden, wife of a commissioner representing the Itsekiri nationality on DESOPADEC located close to SEPLAT, Paulinus Akpeki house (Commissioner for Housing) at New road, Moovig Hotel fence, belonging to Delta State House of Assembly Majority leader, Monday Igbuya.
Calls placed to him to get his own side of this report were not picked neither were they returned. Text messages sent to him were also ignored.
