The Jigawa State Ministry of Works and Transport has soiled its hands in the bowls of corruption as one of its staff, Adamu Dalha, has been found complicit in contract racketeering, violating the Code of Conduct Bureau for public office holders in the country.
Section 6(B) of the Code of Conduct Bureau for public servants in Nigeria strongly forbids a civil servant who is employed full time by the Nigerian government from owning or managing a private business or company, but he/she is allowed to own or operate a farming business.

Investigations by this online media revealed that Adamu Dalha, grossly violated this law, by running a company which was used to receive a contract from the Kano state government in 2022, while serving as a staff under the government.
Data on the Jigawa State open procurement portal have it that in March 2020, Ad2 Integrated Technical Nig Ltd was awarded a contract for the repair and renovation of staff quarters by the Kano State government worth N35,004,944.80. The contract has been completed, according to the details on the portal.
Further findings revealed that the company, which was incorporated in Dutse with registration number 1298572, on 11 November 2015, has Adamu Dalha, a civil Engineer under the Ministry of Works and Transport in Jigawa state as one of its directors.
