Leadership positions should only be occupied by those whose integrity, transparency and accountability have been tested, trusted and proven beyond every reasonable doubt with abounding evidences that they are worthy of leadership.
Caught in the act of lying on oath to the electoral body is the aspirant gunning to lead the people of Anambra East and West in the Federal House of Representative, Mr Obidigwe Chinedu Benjamin who information at our disposal revealed as using different falsified age in other to meet the necessary criteria of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Hard evidence available to SecretReporters reveal that all documents submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission by the flag bearer of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) carried conflicting dates of birth. It was also revealed that the affidavit of the aspirant showed that he was born on the 29th of September, 1979 meanwhile the information displayed on his INEC form showed that he was born 26th of September, 1979.
If this was a mere mistake or a coincidence, other documents submitted by the aspirant to the Independent body however proved that the aspirant has been a liar from birth and has earned a degree as a first class student in the school of liars as the age declared on his West Africa Examination Council result was October 12, 1981.
Further findings showed that the aspirant who sources claimed is suffering from Amnesia or an acute case of Alzheimer also submitted a photocopy of his permanent voters card (PVC) and alas his date of birth was 25th October, 1979.
There are speculations within the voting population in the constituency and the state that the age falsification spree of Obidigwe Chinedu presents clear evidence that he lacks integrity to a very large degree and wonders why the electoral umpire has not taken steps to penalize such cunning individuals who have decided to take them for a ride.
