Cunny Servant: Federal Government Staff, Halidu Maryam Mohammed, Diverts Over ₦129 Million To Personal Company’s Account

Documents have revealed how Halidu Maryam Mohammed, a civil servant with the Federal Government of Nigeria, was involved in contract racketeering using the company, INCO Investments Nigeria Limited, violating the Code of Conduct and Tribunal (CCBT) Act, to the sum of ₦129,913204.5
The Federal Republic of Nigeria (CCBT Act) law dictates that public officials should not own or run a private company while employed as full-time staff. However, such laws do not apply if the company or business is in the farming sector.
Perusing Govespend, a government portal that tracks and analyses federal government spending over time, it was discovered that on June 28, 2023, the Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo, Benue state made the transfer of ₦80,763,658.15 to Inco investment (nigeria) limited for the “Final payment of 70% for construction of vc chancellor lodge
On June 19, 2023, the Federal university of health sciences, otukpo, benue state made the payment of ₦34,612,996.35 to Inco investment (nigeria) limited for the “Part payment 30% moblization fee from 130557793.25 for construction of vic chancellors lodge”.
On March 18, 2023, the Energy Commission of Nigeria made the payment of ₦14,536,550.00 to Inco investment (Nigeria) limited for the promotion of renewable energy and solar street lights works at Gombe State.
It was discovered that the company Inco investment (Nigeria) limited was registered in Zaria, Nigeria with Registration Number 290750, in the year 1996.
The company has three key management staff member among who is; Halidu Maryam Mohammed, a civil servant working in Federal College of Education Zaria.
