TRAMADOL SPEECH: YET TO BE SWORN IN, BAYELSA GOV. ELECT, DAVID LYON AWARDED 2019 BEST GOVERNOR

Mixed reactions have been trailing the viral video in which the governor-elect of Bayelsa State Mr David Lyon was seen celebrating an acclaimed award he received from an unidentified organization as “the best governor of the year 2019.”
“I am not even used to receiving awards,” he said amidst applause from his supporters while attributing the award to God.
Having contested on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2019 Bayelsa State governorship election, Lyon was declared the winner of the poll by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Monday, November 18 2019.
Nigerians especially those on various social media platforms has criticized the video with many alleging that the award was a false claim by the governor-elect while others believe that the oil-rich state dubbed to be the “Glory of all Lands” may be in for a misty ride for the next four years with David Lyon who will be officially sworn in as Governor of the state on Friday, February 14.
