As fanfare hovers around the family of Nigeria’s first family, President Muhammadu Buhari, on the graduation of their daughter with a First Class degree from a London University, findings by SecretReporters revealed that, Aisha Jnr. attended the lowest ranking university in UK, where anybody can come out with such degree, with average seriousness in studies.

Aisha Buhari who took to twitter to celebrate the First Class degree feat refused to add the name of the university in her tweet. The University where she finished from was formerly known as Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication before it was changed to Ravensbourne University London with 2.240 undergraduate students as its population.

Probably keeping with his mantra of simplicity, Buhari sent her to the university ranked as the fourth cheapest university to attend in UK with tuition fee going for 14,500 pounds for international students and ranked worst among universities in London, with their graduates suffering to get jobs unless they proceed further.

Those who know graduates from the university noted that the certificate is not valued in the United Kingdom but merely cosmetic degrees brought back to Nigeria to intimidate graduates of Nigerian universities.

According to a Facebook user, “A senior colleague to my dad’s friend in the Airforce had one of his kids graduate from same college years back. He could barely get a good job in the UK, until he proceeded to London Business School, where he did another course or so. Today he works with the Nigerian Bureau of Statistics. A First Class material in that university is equivalent to a 3rd class material in Akanu Ibiam Polytechnic”.
