Like a volcano waiting to explode, the deeds of the owners of a popular sit out in Uyo metropolis has been laid bare as many residents in the state, especially their frequent customers may soon boycott the thrilling hangout located at Oron road, Uyo all thanks to the unprofessional attitude of the baron at the helm of affairs in the company.

Speaking on the development a popular comedian in the state by name Sir James took to the social media to vet his anger over the incessant complaints about the maltreatment and total disrespect of staff members of the company many of whom angrily had to quit their jobs.

Sir James alleged that on several occasions some of the workers have had to secretly put up with the way the owner of the company speaks to them with disdain, withholds the salaries of those he does not like or those who refuse to worship him, and worst of all demanding for sex from the sales girls if they must continue as his Staff.

According to the comedian who narrated the ordeal of his younger brother in the hands of the arrogant baron, the MD consulted his kid brother to design flex banners for him, after executing the job the young man approached the MD for his balance of N10,000 but instead of paying up his debt, the MD ordered his police orderlies to bundle the young man to ‘B-division’ Uyo on a trumped up accusation that the young man insulted him by tapping him from behind in order to get his attention.

Arrogantly the MD also demanded that the young man must kneel down and apologize to him before getting his money. SecretReporters learnt that it only took the intervention of the former Akwa Ibom State Police PPRO and Mr Steve, the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Area Command to resolve the matter.

“… I don’t blame you, at times ill-gotten wealth can make one act like ILLITERATE.” Stated Sir James as he vowed to make sure that the Mall and its owners go down like every other business that ever existed in Akwa Ibom and chose to maltreat its staff after the owner had allegedly boasted that no phone call could stop him from getting the young man arrested the previous night.

In collaborating the comedian’s story, another Facebook user Nsikak Akpan also disclosed that a staff who once served him turned down a tip stating that it was better she refused the offer than she ends up giving the money to the management as they are usually searched after duty with any cash on them retrieved not minding how or if a customer gave them a tip.

All efforts made to reach the Managing Director proved abortive as at the time of going to press.
