POLITICS OF EXPLOIT IN THE NAME OF THE LORD

I wonder how the good Lord will judge especially men of cloth and then the Bishops ? ,we know there are politics in the house of the Lord .

Politicians are also free to get involve politically after all we cannot leave politics to Hooligans that will mess our lives and that of our generation and even the unborn up . I personally encourage the church to get involve in politics but to re-direct it ,play it with some fear of God and show some light on how to play politics without the known dirt inherent in politics.
My heart bleeds that BISHOP of ANGLICAN COMMUNION whose brother is an SSA to A Governor is playing politics that will shame the devil . This is a Revered man of God but i will concentrate on his recent deed with PEOPLE LIVING WITH SICKLE CELL in ANAMRA STATE ,led by MRS AISHA EDWARD .

This group of unfortunate brethren whose ailment is never as a sign of what they did , but the inability of the church and society to educate Spouses on the need to check Genotype before marriage ,because it is inevitable that if you are SS and marry SS that you will breed SICKLE CELL . Sickle-cell disease occurs when a person inherits two abnormal copies of the haemoglobin gene, one from each parent. Several subtypes exist, depending on the exact mutation in each haemoglobin gene. A person with a single abnormal copy does not experience symptoms and is said to have sickle-cell trait. Such people are also referred to as carriers.

The complications of sickle-cell disease can be prevented to a large extent with vaccination, preventive antibiotics,blood transfusion, and the drug hydroxyurea/hydroxycarbamide. A small proportion of patients require a transplant of bone marrow cells.
Almost 300,000 children are born with a form of sickle-cell disease every year, mostly in sub-Saharan Africa but also in other parts of the world such as the West Indies and in people of African origin elsewhere in the world. In 2013 it resulted in 176,000 deaths up from 113,000 deaths in 1990.[1] The condition was first described in the medical literature by the American physicianJames B. Herrick in 1910, and in the 1940s and 1950s contributions by Nobel prize-winner Linus Pauling made it the first disease where the exact genetic and molecular defect was elucidated.-Source WIKIPEDIA.”.

People living with sickle Cell are living with great pains if there is no medical help to cushion the effect .Back to Bishop and this group , the fact that the Bishop lost an elder brother to SICKLE CELL should,ve been enough to make the Bishop dedicate his calling in helping this group of people but that is not the question.

He made a pledge to the group for 200,000 NAIRA which has lingered ,even though the group went on a thanks giving to his Cathedral with items worthy of Thanks to God were used as offering to God on his Alter ,that did not impress him enough to fulfill the promise that proceed from his Ecclesiastical mouth .

Last week his secretary called the Leader of the group and ask her to come and collect the money ,when she got there the Bishop turned the pledge to Blackmail by asking the woman to stop telling WOMEN in the state to vote for another woman who she said will advocate for a proper legislation for PEOPLE LIVING WITH SICKLE CELL ,the leader has been a strong advocate for the candidate who so far has promised to sponsor a BILL that will help SICKLE CELL PATIENTS in the nation ,i am talking about SENATOR UCHE EKWUNIFE .

The Bishop told her point blank that paying her the pledge anchored on her stop campaigning for Ekwunife and start campaigning for VICTOR UMEH ,when the Woman told the Bishop that what she is doing is what the ASSOCIATION agreed upon to vote and campaign for any one that will champion the cause of the group ,that so far only Ekwunife has giving that support and promise for such legislation ,the Bishop did not find it funny and instead to pay the Association the money promised as pledge ,he ask them to go and come back.
When the Secretary to the Bishop call the association to come for the Cheque ,the association send one OKECHUKWU MMADUNEME a parishioner to the Bishop ,the boy had an accident on his first day which turned out to be false alarm because they played him turn turn turner .

The second time they made it known to him that the pledge is no longer 200,000 NAIRA but 50,000 NAIRA and that it is not ready, that he should come again the third time ,when the boy went for the third time they refused to grant him audience .

Our South east Editor send text to the Bishop about the development ,but 3 days after the Bishop is yet to respond nor cared to make good the pledge for the SICKLE CELL PATIENTS who needs the money to pay school fees for the student members .

The quandary is can a BISHOP be this transparent in his political inclination ? , Can’t a Bishop extend helping hand to the less privilege without asking them for something in return ?

Is this what Christ who we follow demand from us in our quest to make Heaven ?
