The prosperity message of the Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa has began manifesting itself in the lives of Deltans, but this time, only few individuals are smiling to the bank.

According to our source, the cash cow of the state, Delta State Oil Producing Area Commission (DESOPADEC) that is yet to pay contractors for works already done doled out the state fund to the commissioners to share among their loyalists and sympathizers, with a mandate not to give a dime to any person on the street supporting the opposition party.

The sum of Twenty Million Naira was given to each of the Commissioners as security vote while another whooping Ninety Million Naira was doled out to each of them as Christmas package.The Itsekiri commissioners were mandated to make sure the money reach everyone, as they are the ones defecting to the All Progressive Congress (APC) in drove.

The money has developed wings and flow to the various bank accounts of the commissioner with less than ten percent of it shared to loyalists and beneficiaries, our source confided in us.
