NANS-JCC DELTA STATE AND THE NONCHALANT ATITUDE OF THE S.A & P.A ON STUDENT AFFAIRS TO GOV. OKOWA

A concerned Nigerian student

The students community in Delta state under the aegis of National Association Of Nigerian Students Joint Campus Committee for the past four months has been thrown into a state of quagmire and this has affected the relationship of students in the state. The election held on the 24th of May 2015 in Asaba which saw one Ogbe Collins and the Inauguration held simultaneously on the 11th of June 2015 at Labour house Asaba.

This did not actually go well with some persons who later held a parallel election at a later date and venue. This issue was actually resolved by the Special Assistant and the Political Aide to the Governor On Students affairs on the ground that those Agrieved Aspirants be Co-opted into the Executives that Emerged as a result of the May 24th Elections this was agreed by both parties for peace to reign for the avoidance of doubt the following positions were made available:

*vice president
*public relations officers
*finicicial secretary
* director of welfare
*director of socials
This decision was laudable and it was also agreed that the Special Assistant and Political Aide to the Governor On Students affairs Comr Ehiwario Jerry and Comr Okoh Ezekiel Tega will make efforts to ensure that the Two Buses belonging to NANS-JCC Delta State Axis which are with the former Chairman Ogoron Solomon will be recovered.

N.B

The first bus which was presented to the Association by Former Governor of Delta State Dr. Emmanuel Ewetan Uduaghan and the new bus presented by H.E Sen. Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa during his campaign.

It will be recalled that the new bus was retrieved and parked by the former SSA to the Governor On Students affairs Comr Ohwofarodor Vwegba was later moved away from where it was parked by Ogoron Solomon and his cohorts.

The old bus was retrieved from where it was undergoing repairs by men of the Nigerian Police Force B Division Warri but as we speak the Special Assistant to the Governor and Political Aide on Students Affairs have refused to even meet with the police in warri to ascertain the state of the bus and the issues surrounding it.
Ogoron Solomon on his part goes around telling people the bus has been sold as unanimously agreed by his executives.

*The Question is what has the Special Assistant and Political Aide to the Governor On Students affairs done to ensure the bus is retrieved?

*Is it right to allow one man who is no longer a student be in possession of a union vehicle?

*What is the role of the Special Assistant and Political Aide on Students Affairs?

*Is this a case of coniviance between the Two Aides to the Governor and the former NANS-JCC Chairman Ogoron Solomon to sell the bus and share the returns?

These are questions I call on the general public to Ask the Incompetent Aides Appointed by the Governor
