Amaechi dance of political death

Unless the Federal Government intervenes, Rivers State Governor will be rendering some indigenes educationally useless for years for an action that is no fault of theirs.

Governor Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi had through the Rivers State Sustainable Development Agency (RSSDA) sent some students to the United Kingdom to study medical and engineering courses on scholarship but halfway into the program, sources have revealed to us that the State government have ran out of cash to continue to pay for their school fees, despite all the World Bank loans collected for phony projects in the State.
The governor without any good reason has decided to withdraw their scholarship and still owe the various UK universities backlog of money. A source confided in us that a particular student got admission into the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) to study medicine/surgery but was among those sent to UK on scholarship. When he got there, he was admitted to study aeronautical engineering at the University of Leicester after undergoing a pre-degree programme. We gathered that instead of the normal five years for reading the course, he will study it for three years with the pre degree inclusive.
Further investigations carried out by us revealed that the State government never sponsored the engineers to a full time degree but a diploma, meanwhile the money signed for by the state according to our sources within the government reflects that they will be University graduates of UK engineering.
Since their departure from Nigeria, the Rivers State government have abandoned them to their fate with many of them already thrown out of their landlord houses and doing nasty jobs to survive. They are yet to be paid their allowances for four months’ a perfect repetition of what happened in 2013
Meanwhile the governor has directed that they return back home and threatened to abandon any student who flouts the order. This is after he has directed the State Ministry of Education to stop sending any money to the UK universities, stated our source in the ministry.
According to sources who spoke to us, the governor has played a fast one on indigenes by stealing billions from the treasury through the scholarship project without any of the students coming back home as super engineers and medical workers that he told the world they will be. The source disclosed that the money stolen from the program is part of what he has successfully used in fighting the media war against the Federal Government.
Emails sent to the various universities in the UK to confirm some bothering issues were yet to be replied as at press time.
