EXCLUSIVE: HOW DEPUTY GOVERNOR PERFECTED AGUARIAWVODO VICTORY IN DELTA CENTRAL SENATORIAL BYE ELECTION A DAY BEFORE ELECTION …As PDP joins Nigerian Army and NYSC to rig

While the result to declare the
Delta Central Senatorial bye election winner is still being counted in Ughelli,
we can authoritatively report that the election was concluded last night which
was Friday in Sapele Local Government Area by the Deputy Governor, Prof. Amos
Utuama, Chief Paulinus Akpeki, who is the state commissioner for housing, Hon.
Monday Igbuya, Majority Leader, Delta State House of Assembly and Hon. Julius
Egbedi, Local government transition committee Chairman.

A source in the know of the meeting
noted that the governor came into Sapele around 8.25pm allegedly carrying over
N500 million to give to party supporters in mobilization for todays election.

The election which was held today
and monitored by our sources revealed a high level of rigging carried out by
the PDP in the eight local government area, that makes up the district. A source
who called our news desk from Sapele stated that a PDP agent who masquerade as
a corp member was all over the polling booth in Ogodo Primary School discussing
with corp members deployed to conduct the election on how to rig the election. The
source noted that the corp member gave the PDP agent his headgear to wear as a
disguise to beat the security from been suspected.

The election in Ajamogha, a
community in Abraka, Ethiope East Local Government Area was reported to be
bloody as PDP agents stormed the venue and beat up the Assistant Resident
Electoral officers, snatching some of the ballot boxes and running into the bushes
to thumb print. One of the officers who spoke to our reporter stated that one
of them was chased into the bush, where he fell into the river. “We don’t even
know the area which the river is. Whether he will die there is what we don’t know,
as the boys are still there waiting for him. We are not from here, but Asaba”,
she stated. Some women and children later took to the street, carrying leaves
to protest over what they termed robbery against Ogboru. Another polling unit where
strong man of DPP, Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru casted his votes later turned to a
battle field as agents alleged to be PDP stormed the venue to cart away the
ballot boxes, haven foresaw victory going the way of the DPP.

Sapele local government area, which
the DPP candidate, Chief Ede Dafinone hails from witnessed massive rigging, as
our sources revealed that the PDP boys loyal to Akpeki and Igbuya chased away
the supporters of DPP from the polling units and began to thumb print the
papers themselves. One of the sources squealed that the PDP took over Okotie
Eboh Grammer School, have chased away all the DPP members there and coerced the
only female electoral official who happens to be a corp member, to do their
bidding. Ede Dafinone who was sighted by our reporter was said to be calm,
making and answering calls from the field. A source close to the DPP chieftain
told us that one of the Party top men, Moses Ogodo is currently battling to
save his properties, as the PDP members are threatening to burn down his house
in New Road, Sapele for trying to stop them from rigging.

“He has been receiving threat calls
for the past four days. His wife and children are currently in trouble as they
have threatened to kill him. My brother, this is not an election but selection
and we must reject it”. An impeccable source told us that Ede has asked all his
agents not to sign any of the election results, while they maintain their peace,
to avoid any of them dying.

One of the PDP agent spotted by our source connived with a corp member and took his headgear in preparation to rig the election. According to our source, he took the headgear in order to beat security, who are known to be relaxed with corp members. He was overheard telling some agents on how to get the ballot papers from the NYSC member who has agreed to play ball with them

Another source revealed to us that
the Nigerian soldiers were used in Sapele and Okpe by the PDP to perfect the
rigging. According to the source, the soldiers took to beating of the DPP
candidates, while giving protection to the election riggers. “That is the
information reaching us from the field and we believe the Defence Minister or
Chief of Army Staff has not ordered his men to rig election in favour of PDP”,
he stated.

In Ughelli South, the INEC official
ordered that 19 booklets of ballot papers and 197 loose sheets (ballot papers)
be given to the Jeremi Ward 2 of the Delta State Deputy Governor, Utuama, even
after materials have been shared to all the wards, including Jeremi Ward 2.
We also gathered
that alleged PDP members snatched a ballot boxes and voting materials as
INEC officials were moving the  materials to  Imohwe
polling booth at Ekiugbo, Ughelli North LGA, Delta State. The hoodlums who
were shooting sporadically into the air  stopped the vehicle
conveying the  voting materials to the polling booth  and
ordered the occupants  out of the vehicle after which they sped away
with the ballot box, voting papers and other electoral materials.  The
occupants of the vehicle who are four youth corpers, a uniform
para-military man and the driver later took another vehicle to an unknown
destination. Residents of the area told our reporter that the units were the
party members snatched the election boxes are stronghold of the PDP and APC.

In Umolo Community, Ughelli South LGA, voting materials
did not arrive as at 1.00pm, despite hundreds of voters being at the polling
units since 7.00am. Unconfirmed report on our news desk stated that the vehicle
conveying the materials was diverted to do some dirty job before it finally
arrived.

In Udu LGA, Ward 7, we gathered that the rigging spree
did not miss there as alleged PDP thugs snatched the ballot boxes meant for the
protest and diverted them to an unknown destination.  Our reporters who monitored the election
reported that there was very low turnout of voters, as it was believed that the
election has already been won and lost. The results which will be declared
officially midnight or tomorrow will be a far cry from the true results as most
names were falsified stated a source.

Impeccable sources at the various collating units in
the district states that it is a landslide victory for Hon. Edesiri Aguariawvodo.
