RIGGING PERFECTED: GOV. OKOWA SEALS PLAN TO RETURN SOLOMON AHWINAHWI AS HOUSE OF REPS MEMBER IN URHOBO LAND DESPITE HIS WOEFUL PERFORMANCE

There is no stopping Governor Ifeanyi Okowa in 2019, as plans are already on top gear by him to install his foot soldiers, especially in political troubled local government areas in the state.

One of those whom the Governor is banking on to muzzle his way into power with enough votes is the current House of Representatives member, Mr Solomon Urhoboyovwe Awhinahwi, representing Ughelli South/North/Udu in the lower chamber.

Awhinahwi who has been described as a sleeping legislator and allegedly diverted public funds to personal accounts is banking on Okowa to arm-twist the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) delegates to vote for him, even though they do not want him to return.

To perfect this return ticket, the arrogant Awhinahwi met with Okowa in a closed door meeting, where he was assured of his fouth term to the House of Representatives. In return, the lawmaker is expected to cage Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, who is the current political leader of the Senatorial District, through alleged use of thugs, to be recruited by him.

The lawmaker has been boasting to all who care to know that no power can stop him from clinching the PDP ticket as well as victory in the general elections, since he finished the meeting with Okowa. He has reportedly called the bluff of party men, telling them that he doesn’t need their votes or advice.

Information gathered by Secret Reporters revealed that the 2015 election was actually won by Chief Julius Akpovoka of the Labor Party but the results were allegedly upturned by the PDP to favor Awhinahwi.

The member representing Ughelli North Constituency I in the Delta State House of Assembly, Samuel Mariere has already declared to unseat him. He made the public declaration on March 1st.
