Secret Reporters
Following series of petitions written by the Anti Corruption and Integrity Forum with documents backing it to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) against Senator Peter Nwaoboshi; the commission have almost concluded their investigations and ready to place the highly corrupt Senator behind the dock.
The petition signed by Comrade Prince Kpokpogi detailed how Nwaoboshi supplied used equipment to Delta State Government and passed it off as new ones, even without paying the correct custom fees, despite collecting a whooping N4.2 billion.
His younger brother, Augustine Nwaoboshi who will be quizzed any time soon is a director with almost all his companies. Secret Reporters can however report authoritatively that Mr Augustine only got to know that his name was listed among the Directors of Nwaoboshi many fraudulent companies, when he has never visited the office before or sat for any of their meetings when the news broke out on Friday on the pages of Newspapers and was told by those who read it.
Investigations carried out by our team of citizen reporters revealed that Augustine only finished Primary School and does not have a good command of the English Language and can’t even read or write. He was only taught how to sign by Peter Nwaoboshi who did it to use him for his dubious life.
We gathered authoritatively that Nwaoboshi only comes to meet him with paper and tell him just to sign, persuading him that it’s for the good of their family and once he signs the papers that he’s unable to read, Peter zooms off, never to be seen again until he needs him to sign, after which he gives him few Naira notes.
Sources within the Nwaoboshi camp told us that the corrupt Senator is currently running from pillar to post. He has called his Fmr Manager, Ike Nwabuogu whom he made a Director of Guinea House without his knowledge to save him from the impending jail, a family source relayed to us. According to the source, Nwaobogu told him to forget about Guinea House as he cannot win the case legally, since it’s his name and not Nwaoboshi that was used in buying the property.
Meanwhile, information pieced by this Newspaper is that the next trouble for Nwaoboshi is bigger than the Delta State contract scam. A fresh petition that will nail him we can exclusively report will be submitted to the EFCC on Monday with loads of documents accompanying it.
