Secrets Reporters
Despite being out of office, former Governor of Delta State, Dr.Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan, is yet to come to terms with reports emanating from the stable of Secrets Reporters as he has denied ownership of the proposed Hilton hotel in Asaba which news was broken by our medium while he was in office.
Uduaghan who personally responded to one of this medium past reports through a social group on Facebook , Umeh Needs Road(UNR) lamented how he was hunted in office and how the attack has continued despite his departure from the Unity House. The governor known for his none punctuation of personal posts on social media had used the same UNR to announce the construction of road in Umeh via same Facebook profile, which was done as promised, though shabbily. He stated that:
“I have posted the Hilton link so that people can be educated on the ownership structure of Hilton. I do not own Hilton or any hotel as claimed by Fejiro Oliver and his sponsors and posted on this UNR page by 2 members.
As a member of this forum I consider it necessary to clear it here. My wife owns a private school in Asaba like every other private school proprietor and she has the right to do so. She can account for every kobo used in building that school.
As for Fejiro Oliver (real name Tega Sampson Oghenedoro) I wish him well. He is young enough to be my son, so I will continue to pray for him like a son. He has devoted the last one year trying to destroy me and my family through the social media . He started before the primaries. Continued thereafter through the campaign and election period. He is continuing even after I have left office.
I’m aware of his various sponsors some of whom were around me. He has continued to delude himself with the notion that he made Sen Okowa a Gov and can therefore dictate how he runs the govt and whom he chooses to run the govt. I hope he and his sponsors do not get consumed in their grandiose delusion. This is usually a very pathetic medical case.”
His response is not unconnected with Secrets Reporters News on how the immediate past SSG, Ovuzorie Macaulay was booed during the swearing in of his successor, Ovie Agas. In the report, we exposed how the advice he gave Uduaghan led to the bleeding of the state treasury.
The ex governor, SR gathered has since left the country for a nice time with his family.
When contacted, Fejiro Oliver promised to respond to the former governor’s post in due time. He wondered why Uduaghan will claim that he (Fejiro) made Senator Ifeanyi Okowa a governor simply because he stood by him using the instrumentality of the media which anyone could have done, when he has written in various medium that God, Deltans and the political heavyweights of which he is not one of them helped Okowa to victory. The journalist noted that Uduaghan’s statement is meant to preempt the relationship that exist between him and Okowa, the man he has consistently called his boss, urging Nigerians especially Deltans to discard what the former number one who looted the state to coma has to say.
“When Vanguard and This Day Newspapers were used to project Anthony Obuh and David Edevbie, did we complain? Would it have been right to say they made any of the two governor? If he had succeeded in singlehandedly installing Edevbie or Obuh, when it’s obvious the media is only an instrument and not the only factor of victory. In any case, why didn’t his media aides sell his candidates to Deltans?”, Fejiro queried.
