Secret Reporters
The year was 2015 just after the general elections and tension was high, as those who lost went to court to challenge the results. It was obvious that the judgment may never favor some of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Then the master of the game, who knew how to break the body of benchers, Fmr. Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Godswill Akpabio was brought in.
Five of the PDP States had bad cases according to high powered sources in the know. Akpabio according to our source went to Abuja as a Senator for his own sake; to block any probe against his era. During his time as governor, he allegedly looted his state to coma, even though he can be credited as bringing Akwa Ibom out of obscurity to prominence and active political player in the nation.
His wealth and assets runs across America, Europe & the Caribbean. In the Senate, his first assignment was to help Bukola Saraki (an APC tomcoat but a PDP man to the core), to become Senate President while he becomes leader of opposition. Money talked & changed hands while President Muhammadu Buhari was junketing to the applause of the West.
While this was ongoing and the PDP was having challenges in court, Secret Reporters gathered that Akpabio as a veteran in political field of play next stage was to ensure victory for PDP governors at the tribunals. He was not concerned with lower courts since all cases will reach the top, made up of Seven Black-Robed persons. Lucky him! His sister (an Un-virgin Mary) & a wife of PDP chieftain & former Governor in the Riverine state awashed with oil, is one of these Seven Seers.
Five cases reached the Seers; 3 oil-soaked namely Akwa Ibom, Rivers and Cross River States; a neighbor back home sharing the same border near Ikot-Ekpene, which is Abia State, while the last is up north which is Taraba State whose only significance is that an APC Mama who, not contented with her ministerial post, still wanted to deprive PDP from their ancestral throne.
Arrangements were concluded with US $20 million (N5 billion as exchange rate then) per Seer for each of the five cases which was a total of US $700 million! With such eye staggering amount, the very credible source revealed that Nyesom Wike, Okezie Ikpeazu, Udom Emmanuel, Ben Ayade and Darius Ishaku got victory.
One of our sources who confided in us state that “this is chicken feeds to a yam hoarder whose cash balance in Dubai alone can absorb that”.
To get back his money, each of the governors he helped to secure victory through the court is expected to pay back $100 million plus interest rate agreed upon for grace to be in power for four years.
Text message sent to the Senate Minority leader was not replied neither did he pick calls at the time of filing in this report.
