But for a fast one played on the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the presidency, the embattled National Chairman, Adamu Muazu would have been removed today during the National Working Committee (NWC) meeting.
Muazu had told his party men that he has gone abroad for bed rest as directed by his physician, which he blamed on the rigorous campaigns which took him round the country.
In the press release issued, he refused to disclose the actual country he travelled to, but rather played the good boy by begging party men to forget the agonies of defeat and work together to build the party, with him still at the helm of affairs.
Contrary to the release that he is on a medical attention, sources squealed to Secrets Reporters that Muazu is just close by Tunis, the capital of Tunisia where he is currently enjoying himself with all the goodies of life. He is not even set to come back quick until the whole tension is down, the source further alleged.
The source revealed that the PDP boss is comfortably relaxing at the seaside resort, which he bought with the funds from the campaign. “What medical attention? All he does is just to be pressing his phone and reading online news to know what is happening while making calls to some loyal friends within the party to direct them on what to do to save his head”, the source stated.
