Few months after Delta State Commissioner for Transport, Ben Igbakpa in manners reminiscent of an emperor bulldozed Sapele Local Government Area, Secrets Reporters can authoritatively report that what he did was for personal reasons, at least in a particular quarter.

The Commissioner who is one of the favorite of Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan was given a mandate to pull down all illegal structures perceived as being stumbling blocks to free flow of water and thus flood in Sapele and other parts of the State.

Alongside one of Delta State most corrupt and lying Commissioner for Environment, Frank Omare, they both embarked on destruction spree, which many residents claimed was done based on favoritism and nepotism.

Less than eight months after the evil act was carried out, Igbakpa is currently erecting a multi-million shopping plaza on one of the lands where he destroyed over twenty people sources of livelihood, claiming they were causing flood.

The plaza which is spreads the road leading to Ugbeyi, beside Ecobank one of the builders who craved anonymity is said to cost over N700 million when completed. Calls put to him as at the time of going to press to get his own side of the story never went through, as it was forwarded, while messages sent to him are yet to deliver.
