Exclusive: How Interior Minister Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo Who Eyes Ondo Governor’s Office Supervised Unexplained Payments of N436 Millions To Questionable Companies

Nigeria’s Federal Ministry of Interior Minister, Mr Olubunmi Tunji-Oko is not new to controversy. The sack of Betta Edu as Minister of Humanitarian Affairs is linked to award of contracts by her to Tunji-Ojo’s company.

Right inside his own Interior ministry lies a web of financial dealings with companies that lacks the basic procurement requirements to execute the contracts. SecretsReporters has reviewed N436,623,350.34 in corporate and vendor payments disbursed by the Minister between 2024 and 2026, across goods and equipment supply, consultancy services, works and renovation, and fuel supply and found payments riddled with same-day batch clustering, one payment with no stated purpose at all, and a consultancy contract whose vague framing should trouble any lawmaker reviewing it.

The single largest corporate payment in the entire ledger went to Ginsau Multi Concept Ltd who got N74,854,818.88, paid on 22nd December 2025, for “the consultancy service for systemic implementation of non-kinetic internal security measures in Nigeria.” SecretsReporters can authoritatively confirm that Ginsau Multi Concept Ltd is not tax complaint and an inactive company with the Corporate affairs commission when Tunji-Ojo awarded it the contract.

The Three same day payment batches

Nine separate vendor payments, each ranging between N8.48 million and N26.01 million, were disbursed in three tight clusters on 25th March 2024, 3rd April 2024, and 13th September 2025 under consecutive payment-voucher number ranges (1001163803, 1001165171, 1001169946, and 1001321084 through 1001321093). On 25th March 2024 alone, six different companies namely Ngwoke Ngwoke & Co, Dunis Global Services, Think Engineering Ltd, E.K.O Xpression Limited, Trueguest Global Services, and Ogoji Integrated Nigeria Limited were paid a combined N87.19 million for laptops, scanners, office renovation and situation-room upgrades. Checks in CAC pulled no results on E.K.O Xpression Limited and Trueguest Global Services. Ogoji Integrated Nigeria Limited was barely two years old when Minister Tunji-Ojo pulled out contract for it, without meeting the necessary requirements.

Diesel supply to the Ministry passed through four different companies across 2025 such as Diamante Global Services Limited (paid twice, N16,810,960.00 each, for January and March 2025), NEJG Engineering & Construction Ltd (N16,843,958.70, for May 2025), and Gosima Group Limited (N16,843,958.70, for June 2025) each invoicing for 8,500 litres of diesel at near identical per-transaction values month after month. A recurring monthly diesel requirement rotated across four separate vendors, each charging almost exactly the same amount, raises a legitimate question of whether these companies are independently competing for this supply or whether the “rotation” itself is the arrangement, a pattern regulators who spoke to us examine closely for signs of vendor collusion or single-beneficial-ownership structures operating under different registered names.

Minister Tunji refused comments on the transparency of the contracts he awarded.
