After Okowa won the election, the comrade community in Delta State went to congratulate him and also told him their pains which he promised to look into as governor

First, he appointed one Jerry Ehiwario who has never held any SUG or NANS position in his student life apart from tribal positions in Ika region as SA, Students Affairs. Many Deltans condemned the appointment as labeled it “Anioma Agenda”. He also appointed Ezekiel Okoh as PA Students Affairs.

True to his word, we gathered authoritatively that Okowa directed the Executive Secretary of Delta State Technical and Vocational board, Mr Michael Akpobire to give a N14 million contract of renovating a school in Kwale to the comrade community.

A tender bill was raised and the attention of Jerry and Ezekiel was brought to the directive of the governor. According to informed sources, Ezekiel suggested that since they had to money to do the contract and agreed that it should be sold to a contractor as earlier suggested by Jerry; the money realized should be used to empower few comrades by setting up establishment for them, which both of them agreed.

Few days later, Jerry single-handedly sold the contract for N2.5 million and deposited the money in his account. He began to call few comrades to send their account numbers to him.
To some, he paid N100,000, while others got between N50,000 and N30,000 and were made to believe that it was his personal money he was doling out to the comrades.

With less than twenty persons getting the money, Jerry smiled home with over a million Naira and other kickback to his wife who just gave birth to a boy. As at the time of filling this report, the contract is yet to be signed by the Executive Secretary of the board meaning it can be cancelled anytime but Jerry has already sold and squandered the money.
