It was all tears of joy when residents of Abule Parapo Phase 2 in Ibeju Lekki Local Government, Awoyaya, Lagos State finally struggled to put roofs over their heads and escape the harshness of landlords.
Their joy was however short-lived as the Managing Director of Skye Bank, Tokunbo Abiru has not only made them homeless by buying allegedly buying judgment from another family, and pulling down properties worth over N1 billion, but sending them to sleep under the bridges in this rainy season, with some of them on the verge of committing suicide.
SecretReporters who broke the news and has followed up on unfolding events is in possession of various videos, showing how bulldozers razed down the sweats of hundreds of family, without court orders.
One of those currently thrown into the open space called on Nigerians to boycott Skye Bank, noting that it is a wicked financial institution.
According to him “This was how Skye bank and Lekki gardens criminally destroyed our homes in Ibeju Lekki LGA Awoyaya. We will severe every business relations with Skye bank for this malicious damage and we will scoop our 10 billion after winning these stupid industries in Court of law God willing…”
