BLOOD MONEY: ATIKU’S ALLEGED DOLLAR SPREE DURING PDP PRIMARIES CLAIMS ITS FIRST CASUALTY AS ROBBERS KILL DELEGATE

As the forthcoming 2019 general elections draws nearer, political aspirants are getting desperate by the day. This desperation has however made them go the extra mile even if it involves dishing out jaw-dropping “gifts” to buy the hearts of the electorates. Little wonder why many politicians end up looting and embezzling taxpayers’ money in order to recuperate from their “philanthropic gesture” as well as restock their accounts.

The just concluded National Convention of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) which produced Atiku Abubakar, a former Vice President of Nigeria as the party`s flag bearer is alleged to have been marred with various degrees of votes buying as revealed to this online news medium by a source who was a delegate at the convention. The source further disclosed that the party`s flag bearer massively doled out cash to delegates in other to secure their votes at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt venue of the primaries.

However, SecretReporters learnt that in an unfortunate incident after the primaries, a delegate has unfortunately become the first victim of this dollar sharing spree as he fell victim to the men of the underworld on his way home. The victim Alh. Salisu Nashinang, Ag. Chairman, Jos East LGA, Plateau, a delegate at the PDP convention was attacked and killed by armed robbers who perhaps got wind that he was loaded with dollars gotten from the convention.

The demise of the delegate was confirmed in recent tweets by Atiku Abubakar in which he expressed his deepest sympathy in a condolence message he sent to the family of the deceased.

Further information revealed that the chairman was alleged to have refused to cooperate with the robbers in giving them what they may have considered their share of the PDP national cake shared at the primaries in the form of hard currency which resulted in his being shot.
