EXCLUSIVE: YOU ARE SUFFERING FROM AMNESIA FOR SAYING NONSENSE ON ASABA AIRPORT, ULO LAMBASTS GOV. OKOWA

Secret Reporters

Following the statement by the Delta State Governor, Mr Ifeanyi Okowa that the former contractor of the Asaba Airport, ULO did a bad job, while praising the new contractor, SETRACO, the construction giant has taken a swipe at the Governor for such reckless comment.

In a reply by the management to the governor and exclusively sent to Secret Reporters, ULO described Okowa as a man suffering from temporary amnesia for not recognizing the fact that they built the airport from scratch to finish and made it functional all within three years.

The company wondered why Okowa is known for speaking through double mouth just to score cheap political points.

“How can the Governor have temporary amnesia? ULO built the entire airport and it became operational in three years. His Excellency should search himself and see why ordinary rehabilitation created so much wahala”, part of the statement read.

ULO wondered why Okowa who praised them last year for doing a great job will suddenly turn round to run them down. “Yes, in June 2017, he praised ULO during inspection. The clips are stil available. What changed after that? Deltans are wiser. Ostrich propaganda doesn’t last”, they stated.

The statement reminded the Governor to remember that power is transient and stop his witch-hunt of the company.

“What did ULO do or REFUSED TO DO that has angered Okowa’s administration so much? Power is transient and we will respond at the appropriate time”, the statement declared.

Secret Reporters has gotten hold of the video clip where Okowa praised ULO to high heavens for doing a good job in the airport and will publish the video in our next report.

This medium also recall series of letters written by ULO to the Okowa’s Government on the issues stopping them from carrying out a proper rehabilitation on the airport runways which the hovernor never responded to, causing them to pull out.
